The Cheese Fruit-Noni

As it is said, “don’t judge a book by its cover” similarly we should not pre judge the worth of anything just its appearance. Noni the fruit of Morinda citrifolia although also known as cheese fruit but actually smells like rotten cheese that sweeps through the skin of the ripen fruit.

 Noni fruit is green and bumpy in its texture and on ripening it becomes yellowish white translucent fleshy fruit with numerous brown seeds. Noni grows in tropical climate of Pacific islands, Southeast Asia, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Australia but the soil quality plays an important role that makes the fruit different in taste and texture. The fruits found in the islands are superior fruit due to the quality of soil .The volcanic soil is mineral -rich soil, devoid of any constant agriculture and spraying. The rainfall is also just ideal for the fruit.

Despite the strong unpleasant smell of the fruit, it is nevertheless admired widely for its therapeutic benefits. Noni is not only famous in island culture but used as an effective healing agent in the conventional medicinal world.

Noni is a safe and effective dietary supplement that works miraculously in alleviating various health conditions. It improves the overall health and boosts energy, relieves pain, strengthens the immune system and prevents the commencement of any disease.
